Friday Fest

Each Friday night of the year, downtown Macon is alive with music, art, great food, and activities for everyone – from children and families to students and adults.

In 2006, City Council asked NewTown Macon to begin managing First Friday and they voted recently to expand the ordinance to every Friday, renaming the event Friday Fest. The event is sponsored by Robin’s Federal Credit Union and benefits downtown revitalization by drawing thousands to visit art galleries and theatres as well as patronizing restaurants and nightclubs in downtown.
