Macon's Midnight Rider: Trolley Pub Crawl

Macon's Midnight Rider, a monthly trolley pub crawl, will debut April 17, 2009.  It will begin its route at 8 pm and run until 2:30 am.  A $5 wristband can be purchased on the trolley and is your admission to ride the trolley an unlimited amount of times throughout the night.

Macon's Midnight Rider will be used to connect local bars and nightclubs and et patrons to their destination safely.  By joining these venues through free transportation, Maconites and visitors will be able to experience ther food, fun, and entertainment that Macon offers.  April 17th is just the beginning of what hopes to be an anticipated monthly event.

Two trolleys will be running the route from 8 pm - 2:30 am.  One trolley will begin its route at Wagers Grill and Bar and stops at CJ's Bar and Grill, The Power Station, and then downtown.  The second trolley will start downtown and make stops at The Shamrock and back to Wagers Grill and Bar.  There are three downtown stops: MLK and Cherry, Third and Cherry, and Second and Cherry.  Downtown participants include BJ's Billiards, Club Synergy, Envy, The Hummingbird, Cox Capital Theatre, The Red Eye Tavern, and The Rookery.  Each venue will have its own specials and entertainment.
