Garage PARKlet Kick Off
FREE | 6PM – 9PM
Take your basic park visit to a new level with the Garage PARKlet! We will be transforming this parking garage into a fun public park for the weekend. There are lots of events planned including yard games, interactive art, performances by and Hindsight & DJ B3. There will also be food & drink available for purchase!

Historic Macon’s Flea Market Preview Party
$25 | 7PM
Entry to the Flea Market Preview Party gives you the special opportunity to shop for great deals before the doors open to the public! Tickets include a catered dinner with wine and brews from Macon Beer Company. The party is $20 for members and $25 for non members, but Saturday and Sunday the flea market is free and open to the public! For nearly 40 years, Historic Macon volunteers have collected, sorted, and priced donations of household items as a fundraiser for Historic Macon’s mission.

First Friday Art Crawl
FREE | 5PM – 9PM
Stops include the 567 Center, Macon Arts Alliance, Gallery West, and Travis Jean. Some light refreshments will be provided along the way. Come out for an evening of art including painting, handcrafted work, and woodworking.

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof Screening
$5 | 7:30PM
The Grand Opera House is proud to announce that movies are back at the historic theatre! Come downtown and see this 60-year-old original starring Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman. General admission is just $5, with a full bar and light concession available. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.

Rock Candy Tours: Free Birds and Night Owls
$10 | 7:30PM – 9PM
This easy walking tour takes just a little over an hour and pays homage to the downtown landmarks, nightclubs, and favorite haunts of Macon’s music history heroes. Open containers are welcomed with “pit stops” at favorite local bars along the way.
